Compress files or a whole folder
- Choose File, then Compress files.
- Choose ZIP, TAR, TAR.GZ or 7Z; for a folder, choose the matching Folder to option. Paths inside the folder are kept.
- Choose where to save the archive.
A password-protected ZIP saves free too.
Extract the files you need
- Open the archive and browse its folders; tap an entry to preview it.
- Save one entry, or choose Extract All and a folder.
- Read the report: files already there are kept under new names, and anything skipped is listed.
Extraction checks space and unsafe paths first, and you can stop it at any time.
Add or remove entries
In a ZIP, 7Z or TAR archive, add files or mark entries and folders for removal.
Save in place or as a copy. Both are free.
Supported archive types

| Split RAR sets | Not supported. Extract the set with another tool, then open the files. |
